A little something

A lifetime:
is eternity. It will never end.

5 years ago:
I was in college having the time of my life. In a class full of females with just a handful - 5 guys in our class, i decided then not to pursue my career in Economics/Commerce. I had my drives then and drove all around KL thanks to my generous aunty. Life was a bliss.

1 year ago:
Behold, i graduated with a Bachelor of Economics and Commerce.

Yesterday:
Woke up thinking that i was late for work and rushed to the train station only to realised that i was early and strolled along at Melbourne Central - while my train to Box Hill passed! I just made it on time to work.

MB, MB, MB, MB..

Mind you. It's not megabytes. But the one and only Michael Buble.
It was surreal! I wished that i was attending his concert tonight, tomorrow night, the night after, next week, next month, EVERY DAY.
I might sound insanely crazy...
If only you were there.
If only...
Women swoon at the sight of him. Men want to be him. He's cool, he's sassy, he's charming, he's sexy, and boy can he sing!
From the moment he appeared as a silhouette behind a white-lit screen, and words of "birds flying high" were heard, the crowd just went crazy!
As he tore through the likes of Fever, Come Fly WIth Me and Moondance, there were jokes, ancedotes and declaration of love to his fans! I'm starting to like Canada more than the States now:)
Buble was backed up by an immaculately dressed 12-piece band, of which eight players formed a brass section. He sang some classics including Queen's Crazy Little thing Called Love and Charlie Chaplin's Smile which he made a comment for the younger folks that Charlie could talk! I reckon Charlie, wrote some of the most beautiful and expressive songs ever sung! The fact that he managed to sell old-school musical standards to a generation raised on pop stars and loud rock is good! Old-school is back!
'
He also did some impersonations just for laughs. From opera to pop. He did opera just to kick Il Divo ***. The previous concert i heard was Josh Groban! He went on to Maroon 5 - This love which i reckon he did it equally as well! And proceed on to Michael Jackson! It was hilarious!
The best part was he allowed his audience to take pictures! Flashes were happening every 3 seconds! Though i find it irritating like how silly can people be to take pictures with flashes for a concert? Like you won't be able to see anything! Sometimes i'm "amazed" at some people's lack of general knowledge.
The other best thing happen was when Michael did an impromptu personal meeting session mid-show: scampering through the audience, wilfully causing pandemonium as women gamely attempted to get a fleeting kiss or hug. It was at this point that i wished i paid more to get one of those to die for exprience!
All in all it was a memorable night. Next time when he's in town, count me in! In fact not only count me in but i'll be in the first row! Hah!

Have been "stumbling" across many of my high school classmates' blogs... And trully enough, they are setting foot in the world and conquering everywhere that they set foot on. One is in Paris, another in Japan, and a few in the States, and even one in Russia!
I'm amazed.

Hunk or Hunkier?

It's weird watching Patrick Swayze in Ghost and in Dirty Dancing at the same time. He was in Ghost on Channel 10 and Dirty Dancing on Channel 9. Just weird! But i like him heaps more in Dirty Dancing. He's a hunk that guy :)

The sky is on fire!

Want or Need?

I'm always known as someone who love "expensive" toys. And you know what, i'm not going to disagree with that. Some of the "lovely" toys that's on my shopping list are:

1) a bookhug. You can see it here. Isn't it nice that you'll be able to read a book while having lunch without it flipping over?

2) a lensbaby. You can see the effects of a lensbaby here

3) and obviously to be able to use a lensbaby, i need a SLR-Camera.

It's funny how i use the word "need" instead of want eh? I think my wants and my needs are a bit mixed up. It's a toss up!

Realize that all these are only available in the States? I think i should start putting aside a bit of money every week to work towards my goal. Oh and i forgot that i would have to convert it AUD1=USD0.70 There you go!

This was taken at Ray UL1000.. This is Phebes (but obviously his name is not spelled this way), but i kinda like this picture... He was doing a graffitti masterpiece for the winners that afternoon at the top of Bouverie St Towers. I love this picture... ( i think i have said this twice *wink*)
This beautiful and natural picture was taken at a dear friend's graduation... Just caught her in the act of entering Wilson's... My regards are to her as she embark on another new chapter of her life... The previous chapters were beautiful...

Smart A * *

I hold in my hands the keys to my future. This is what i call "real" knowledge.

Thanks to a dear friend, right now i'm officially a member of National Geographic Australia! Yipee!! I just received my first *special* edition today.

It's all about the ups and downs of A-F-R-I-C-A. I can't wait to pry open those pages...

Hmmmm?

When i got off work today, for the first time in a long while that i could walk in "light". Literally. And i tell you, it felt good.
'
Can't help it, but i keyed in speed dial #3 on my mobile. Hoping someone would pick up the phone so that i could share my excitement and joy. But it continued to ring and ring. Then i proceeded to speed dial #4. A manly voice came on... We talked for minutes... I simply adore this man... I am who i am because of him. Trully. To share the joy of sunset with him was beautiful.
'
And i tried speed dial #3 again... i waited. I was hopeful. Mummy!!! My mother was becoming extremely detailed in her conversations. My conversation with her earlier today:
'
PJ: Hey ma!
'
M: Hey, sorry i was in the garden... And by the time i ran into the house to get the phone, it died. How are you?
'
PJ: Errrr...good.
'
M: Ooo guess what! I just bought RM90 worth of plants... Now i feel a wee bit guilty... But it's so worth it though... And i just love how the green leaves are creating a very desiring effect on our garden and the surronding atmosphere (yadda yadda... she proceeds on this entire babble about what she's gonna do with these plants and the best part is she claims that this is a gift from me to her for Christmas! Just to ease her guilt. Women do have a way in easing their guilt after a huge shopping spree eh?)
'
PJ: Wow! Cool!
'
M: Oh and you know what?
'
PJ: What?
'
M: I just bought meself 3 pairs of earrings!
'
PJ: wow! that's good!
'
(And again she describe the 3 pair of earrings as if she was Roald Dahl describing Willy Wonka's factory! :) But obviously she had to mentioned that she got them for 70% off the marked-price)
'
For the entire 3 minutes, i was "erming" in between every "suitable" pauses.
'
M: Ok i better return to my garden to finish off before i pick your sister up from school.
'
PJ: Cool!
'
M: Oh hold on, why did you call? ANything?
'
PJ: Nah.. just to let you know that the sun is out!
'
M: Oooh really? That's good! See ya then! Take care!
'
PJ: Yup byeeeee... *click*
'
I love my mummy soo much! She cracks me up all the time! She and dad bought me the most beautiful ring ever... or rather rings! :)
