Silvertop Taxi anyone? Call 131-008 Posted by Hello

Phew...

Keeping a blog can be rather stressful, y'all. Especially when there's a certain someone that bugs you to update it all the time....(Yes, i apologize, this post has been long overdue.)
My gosh... i'm super tired... (get why i don't blog?) Working life is not a piece of cake. Hah! No let's not get into the mood of complaining. Life's too short to not see things on the positive side.
Oh well at least my boss is nice, in fact really nice. I was give a small assignment to do. And my first reaction was maybe to check out the prices of some seafood or soemthing. But to my delight, the topic is: CHOCOLATE. How awesome is that? Which means that for the entire week, i'll be surfing the internet filling my self with the knowledge of chocolates. Understanding its origin, the myths and how it causes human beings to be HIGH... I was even thinking to myself, hmmm maybe i should visit Max to better understand my topic of assignment eh? How nice... a bachelor of commerce graduate, writing an essay about chocolates? I just simply love the diverse roles that i get from work.
In a way, i really don't have any trouble getting up early for my job. (Well most of the time anyway)
Max Brenner, Coco Black, here i come! Hooray!

Meet Jinxy

How many of you remember watching the movie Meet the Parents and subsequently Meet the Fockers? Remember how Gaylord tried to catch Jinx - the cat? and almost burned down the entire wedding reception? Well it wasn't almost but he actually did it! Yes? Vaguely? Anyway, about Jinx, a cat that is toilet trained, this cat could flush better than all of us? Ever left the toilet unflushed? or the toilet seat up? All of these i'm guilty! But Jinxy is not. In fact he's never...
How did they toilet train a cat? Well guess what, a couple in Sydney, Australia got the idea from this movie and subsequently tried it on their cat. Just after 2 weeks of training, the cat was just like Jinxy! Flushing toilets, shooting at the right places and leaving the seat down. It's some sort of thing with a hole that teaches the cat to spray into a hole and it gets bigger and bigger until the cat can balance by itself.. (I personally have no idea how it works and apologize for not elaborating). But this will give you a bit more information http://edition.cnn.com/2005/BUSINESS/06/14/cat.business.device/index.html
They are getting orders internationally right now and basically, they're gonna be RICH! Why do some of the elite group of people come up with such amazing ideas that just make the world an easier place to live in? Consider the guy who invented paper clips. Just have some steel in your hand and twist it around here and there. And voila! A million dollar invention!
Oh God, please give me an idea! A niche market!
I think it's time i look at my life and see what's worth inventing eh?

i need a holiday!

Guess what people?? I still struggle with the fact that there will be no more 3 month long days of leisure for a long day to come! Sigh... i know some of you must be thinking that i should be in joy that all the uni students are having their finals now. But the thought of them finishing in 2 weeks just freaks me out! The fact that i can't hang out with them during the day and even more so during the night because i'll be too darn tired!
I need a holiday!!!!
p/s and i have only been working for 3 weeks

The anatomy of sarcasm

It would seem that I know far more people with brain damage than I had previously thought. Scientists from Israel's Haifa University have pinpointed portions of the human brain responsible for comprehending sarcasm. It involves a complex sequence of cognitive skills. People with brain damage in the prefrontal lobe- where language and social cues are processed-don't get, for example, why anyone would tell a slacker, "Don't work too hard!"
